He also works with juvenile and adult prison inmates. Here, he combines meditation techniques with Western psychology principles. Noah is also a member of the Prison Dharma Network.

He has also helped to establish a number of projects and organizations, including the Mind Body Awareness Project, a non-profit organization that serves incarcerated youth, and Refuge Recovery, an addiction recovery community.

In June 2014, he published his first book, Refuge Recovery: A Buddhist Path to Addiction Recovery.

In this chapter, Noah adapts the Eightfold Path and the Buddha’s Four Noble Truths into a systematic and proven approach to drug and alcohol addiction recovery.
