Career in College

Joel was recruited by Pensacola Junior College in Pensacola, Florida, after graduating from high school.

The Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 4 games to 1 in the 2012 NBA Finals. With the Heat, Anthony earned his first NBA championship.

Joel also won his second NBA title with the Heat in the 2013 NBA Finals, defeating the San Antonio Spurs 4-3.

On January 15, 2014, the Heat, Golden State Warriors, and Boston Celtics were part of a three-team trade.

In return for a 2016 second-round draft pick, the Heat handed Anthony and a future draft pick to the Celtics.

For the Celtics, Anthony appeared in 21 regular-season games. On October 17, 2014, the Celtics traded Joel to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Will Bynum.

He inked a second 10-day deal with the San Antonio Spurs on February 2, followed by a rest-of-season agreement on February 12.

On September 24, 2017, the athlete signed a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.

On February 27, 2018, Anthony joined San Lorenzo of Argentina’s Liga Nacional de Básquetbol (LNB) as a temporary replacement for injured power forward-center Matias Sanders.
