She went on to work for the ABC News station in 2006, while also working as a freelancer, allowing her to report on some highly significant topics, such as the war in Pakistan.

She traveled to Pakistan while working for “” and “France24” as a reporter.

But it was not easy for Vivian, who subsequently revealed that she had to acquire the Urdu language (despite knowing Arabic) to survive there.
