Torrey DeVitto will play Skelly in the film.
On May 27, the Chicago Med star announced on Instagram that she had finished her portion of the filming schedule for her next feature Skelly and that she couldn’t wait to share the film with everyone this fall.
She also stated that she had a unique experience while filming the film.
“And that’s the end of my story!” I had such a unique experience filming this film.
I can’t wait to show it to you all this autumn! “#Skelly,” read the caption.
Filming for the film began in early May 2021 in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
DeVitto’s post also included a series of photos in which she posed with her co-stars John Palladino and Judah Abner Paul.
The other two images were screen captures from Deadline magazine’s review of the film.
According to the source, the actress has joined the cast of the film, which also includes John Palladino, Brian Cox, and Judah Abner Paul.
Skelly is also written and directed by Matthew Greene-DeLange, and it is produced by Walk Like A Duck Entertainment’s Rob Goodrich and Jason Armstrong, as well as Ellyn Vander Wyden.
DeVitto plays the mother of 11-year-old Jonah, played by Judah, whose grandfather dies, sending his father into a state of sadness that Jonah cannot understand.
As he and his buddies prepare for the yearly haunted house, Jonah develops a preoccupation with mortality.

The 36-year-old actress recently made headlines when she announced her departure from the cast of the NBC program Chicago Med after she and co-star Yaya DaCosta opted not to renew her contract at the end of the sixth season.
