The Netflix series will release the third teaser of its highly anticipated fourth season on August 6, 2021, featuring some exciting new sequences.
Stranger Things’ official social media accounts revealed the teaser on Friday, with a definite schedule to play the teaser during NBC’s Tokyo Olympics coverage later tonight.
Despite being brief, the 30-second video also discloses the release date for Stranger Things Season 4.
It confirms that the show will debut in 2022.
That means the series will have no new episodes in 2021 and will run at least two and a half years after the premiere of Season 3 in July 2019.

The video features the series’ regular cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, and Finn Wolfhard.
On February 14, 2020, Netflix released the first Season 4 teaser, revealing David Harbour’s character Hopper was alive as a Russian prisoner.
The second teaser, which was released in May of this year, depicted Eleven inside the laboratory with other children.
Just a few days back, executive producer Shawn Levy had teased the release date of the fourth season, saying, “I’m not permitted to say more [about the release date].
