On a recent episode of his podcast “The Big Podcast with Shaq,” he discussed purchasing an NBA franchise that is extremely dear to him.

Shaq was referring to the Orlando Magic, who selected him in the 1992 NBA Draft.

Shaq addressed the DeVos family, which has ties to former President Donald Trump.

The powerful family has made significant political contributions in their home state of Michigan throughout the years.

Betsy DeVos was the 11th Secretary of Education of the United States, serving from 2017 to 2021.

Donald Trump said in November 2016 that he will nominate DeVos to be Secretary of Education in his government.

She was confirmed by the Senate in February 2017 by a 51-50 vote on party lines.

Orlando Magic – Another renovation is on the way.

The Orlando Magic held the first overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft just two days ago.

They used it to choose Paolo Banchero, a Duke University standout.
