Rima Elizabeth Horton, also known as Rima Horton, is the late actor Alan Rickman’s wife, best known for Rima Horton’s husband’s roles as Hans Gruber in the 1988 film Die Hard and Severus Snape in the Harry Potter franchise.

As a result, when Rickman died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 69 in 2016, he left his wife more than $5 million, according to Express UK.

Rima also received the majority of her late husband’s UK assets.

She also appears to have obtained ownership of Rickman’s properties in America and Italy.

The actor also bequeathed £25,000 to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Sponsored Arts for Education, the Facial Surgery Research Foundation, and the International Performers Aid Trust.

His three nieces were also among those who received £25,000 each.
