According to a survey (#Ditchthelist survey), most people prefer a date who is clean and has no bad breath. A pleasant voice was desired, and the wish list differed depending on the person’s age group.

Every person seeking a date has a wish list of attractive attributes that he or she wants on a date.

Coffee Meets Bagel conducted the #DitchTheList survey to identify what these are.

According to the research, most women like a tall, clean doctor with the fresh, good breath, good teeth, and clean fingernails.

As a result, hygiene was ranked first among the desired traits of a spouse in this study.

The date was also anticipated to be fit, but not for long periods of time in the gym.

The person should also be good at home cooking and have a pleasant voice.

The perfect woman should have long hair and be an artist.

Survey results in detail

According to the survey, fresh breath is also on the list of desired attributes in a lady and ranks second in those of an ideal man.

A man’s brow should be powerful.

Women like clean fingernails and teeth over a six-pack.

Doctors and CEOs topped the list of professions, followed by bankers and attorneys

Entrepreneurs, architects, and engineers were also encouraged to apply.

Artists and musicians were considered ideal life partners by men.

Around 25% of Hong Kong residents said that profession was the most important factor in dating.

Half of them would reject a filthy companion.

One of the desirable qualities on a date was a nice voice.

Chewing noisily, nail-biting in public, lengthy nose hairs, and shearing nails in public were all deal breakers.

Millennial men placed a high value on women’s financial security.
