Cox regrets her plastic surgery, telling The Sunday Times how she
sought to seem younger by getting work done but ended up regretting the outcomes.
“There was a period when you’d think to yourself, ‘Oh, I’m changing.’
“I’m looking older,” the actress said to the publication.
“And I didn’t know that, oh [crap], I’m actually looking pretty weird with
injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now,” she continued.
In a 2017 interview with New Beauty, the interviewer asked several similar questions.
“Well, you look wonderful,” one of them said. “What are you up to now?”
In response, she stated that all of her fillers had been dissolved.
“Movement in your face is essential, especially if you have thin skin like me.”
“Those aren’t wrinkles; they’re grin lines,” Cox explained.
“I’ve got to learn to appreciate movement and recognize that fillers are not my friend,” she added.
When asked if she was finished with treatments, Cox replied, “I don’t know what the future holds,
but I know I want to stay natural.” I believe in laser treatments such as Clear + Brilliant. “I have faith in microneedling.”
She discussed how getting older in Hollywood made things more difficult.
She thought the appearance was everything, which got her into problems.
“I was trying so hard to keep up, and I ended up making things worse,” she explained.
