Here is a timeline of his career in football, his favorite sport.

In 1999, he made his college debut as a redshirt freshman against the James Madison Dukes Football Team.

Later, he demonstrated the primary action in the annual Black Diamond Trophy game against the West Virginia Mountain Football Team.

The Atlanta Falcons

On September 23, he threw his first NFL pass to wide receiver Tony Martin in the second quarter against the Carolina Panthers.

He helped the Falcons win 24-16 on this day by scoring his first touchdown in the fourth quarter, which was incredible.

In addition, his club won another game, this time against the Dallas Cowboys. 20-13 was the final score.

In 2002, he was named to the Pro Bowl.

Injuries

Vick suffered a fractured right fibula during a preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens in 2003.

During the regular season, he missed approximately 11 games. And his 2003 was sporadic.

Despite his injury, he kept his fitness and took good care of himself.

He was back on the fields in less than a year, as healthy as ever.

The Return in 2004

In 2004, Vick regained his form, rushing for 2,313 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

Everyone was relieved to see him strong and focused again.

He also ran for 902 yards and three touchdowns as the Falcons concluded the season with an 11–5 record.

He set the mark against the Denver Broncos on October 31, 2004, and his throw of more than 250 yards became legendary.

Vick was nominated to his second Pro Bowl and led Atlanta to their third division title.

He had the third-highest single-season rushing total for a quarterback in NFL history.

He inked a nine-year, $130 million deal on December 23.

They became the first running back duo to achieve 1,000 rushing yards in a single season, along with his teammate Warrick Dunn.

Suspension

Vick pleaded guilty to federal charges in the Bad Newz Kennels dog fighting investigation in August 2007.

As a result, the NFL suspended him for an undetermined period of time without pay.

This was accomplished through a letter in which NFL commissioner Roger Goodell stated that the quarterback had admitted to the violation, which he described as “not just illegal, but also cruel and disgusting.”

The Philadelphia Eagles

Vick played with the Philadelphia Eagles after his ban was lifted after he was traded by the Atlanta Forces during his time in prison.

He was a quarterback and a team captain for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2009 to 2013, and he performed an outstanding job in both.

Despite this, his proclivity for unscrupulous dealings continued, resulting in his collapse.

Wife and Children

Michael Vick is a father of four children and a married man. Their love story began in 2002 when they were both in their early twenties.

Kijafa Frink, whom he met in 2002, has been his long-term girlfriend. It was in 2002, in an interview with Philadelphia’s NBC10, wherein Kijafa says,”

Vick just came over to her at the nightclub, got her number, and they’ve “been talking ever since.”

Their relationship was a tough one, but they were strong and understood despite all the struggles.

Finally, after 11 years of living together and knowing one another, they decided to get married in 2012.

The couple looked beautiful together, and it was a memorable day for Vick.

Vick’s oldest son is Mitez Vick, born on July 10, 2002, whom he shares with his previous girlfriend, Tameka Taylor. Taylor and Vick were in the same high school, Warwick High School.

Afterward, they attended different colleges, where they parted their way forever.

While he was young, he used to switch and stay with his parents simultaneously.
