Who is Mario Fernandes?

A player changing nationality and playing for a foreign country, on the other hand, is something out of the norm. Similarly, Mario Fernandes was born in Brazil but ended up playing for Russia.

He had trouble settling down even after returning to the club.

He also sought counseling for his depression concerns.

Following that, he neglected his health, became addicted to alcohol, and began clubbing all the time while relying on McDonald’s cuisine.

As a result, he would seem inebriated in training at times and even once skipped a Superclasico game.

Fernandes got his first injury in his career in 2010 when he injured his shoulder.

That reportedly held him out for 196 days, and he missed 37 games in total.

Later, in 2013, he suffered a knee injury and other issues that kept him out of the game for about 200 days.

Even during that time, he missed 27 games.

Following that, he suffered several minor injuries in 2014, which fortunately recovered quickly.

Fernandes had a nasal bone fracture on March 16, 2015, which required a week to heal and caused him to miss a game.

Soon later, he sprained his ankle and was out for two weeks.

Moving forward to 2016, he suffered a concussion and missed two games in seven days.

Following that, he fractured his nasal bone again, and in 2018, he suffered another hamstring injury and concussion.

As a result, he was out for more than a month and missed nine games.

Fernandes tested positive for the new coronavirus in 2020 and was quarantined.

He has now missed two games in 15 days.

Apparently, his most recent injury occurred in November 2020.

He had a hip ailment at the time and was out for 30 days, missing six games as a result.

Fernandes has missed 86 games over his career as a result of injuries.
