Marcus averaged 23 points, five rebounds, and six assists a game over that time period.

He also won the NEPSAC AA player of the year award as well as the Class AA title.

Marcus earned offers from Ohio State, Minnesota, and Washington before committing to the Creighton Bluejays men’s basketball team.

Marcus was the team’s starting point guard, averaging 10.4 points, 3.4 assists, and 3.2 rebounds per game.

Marcus, meanwhile, set a career-high with 32 points, five assists, and two steals versus Texas Tech.

He was also named to NBC Sports’ Second Team All-Big East and Second Team All-American teams.
