Early Career

She declared her intention to pursue a wrestling career shortly after becoming interested in the sport.

She couldn’t afford it because she didn’t have enough money. She also worked as a dancer at nightclubs to supplement her income.

She also traveled to Mexico to receive professional training for her future. There, Amy had the opportunity to meet and train with a variety of experienced trainers.

She later returned to the United States after completing her training.

She got into Maryland Championship Wrestling after working as a valet on the Independent Circuit. Similarly, she chose the name Angelica for her ring. At the same time, she performed at the N.W.A. Mid-Atlantic.

Matt and Jeff Hardy, two well-known wrestlers, approached her to coach her.

She later met Paul Heyman. The E.C.W. was owned by Paul. Dory Funk Jr. promised to train her at his wrestling school, “The Funkin’ Conservatory,” when she returned.

She was immediately identified as one of the school’s 24 graduates.

Amy then made her official debut in E.C.W. in October 1999. She then signed a development deal with the W.W.F. on November 1 and was given the ring name Lita.

Luchador Essa Rios is also teamed with her. She then made her television debut in an episode of Sunday Night Heal on February 13, 2000.

Rios and Lita split up after some time, and Matt and Jeff Hardy joined her. As a result, they formed the Team Xtreme trio.

She also defeated him on Raw Battle before teaming up with Trish Stratus. As a result, she was pitted against Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson.

Then, on July 22, they conducted their first-ever bra and pantyhose match, in which the opponent was stripped naked.

They teamed up with Jacqueline and feuded with Keibler, Ivory, Wilson, and Mighty Molly once more.

She finally returned to W.W.F. television in 2002 and began her quest for the W.W.F. Women Championship crown.

Jazz, the defending champion at the moment, pinned her at WrestleMania X8.

As a result, her path to the Championship crown was once again derailed.

She went through three cracks in her vertebrae this time. She spent the whole year recovering, with just infrequent appearances as a pundit.

She reappeared for an episode of Raw after a long hiatus of seventeen months. She competed in the women’s division and won the battle royal, making her the favorite to win the Women’s Championship.

She regrouped with Matt Hardy in the back, who aided her in escaping Kane’s attack.

As a result, Hardy and I created a team. When Kane realized this, he couldn’t stand the thought of them reuniting, so he kidnapped her.

Furthermore, Vince handed her a title shot at Bad Blood, but she lost to Trish Stratus.

Regarding Her Pregnancy

She once broke the news that she was pregnant, which sparked a flurry of rumors. Furthermore, the announcement of a pregnancy rumored to be Kane’s startled everyone.

They had about such a dispute between Hardy and Kane, “Till Death Do Us Part.” In the end, Kane triumphed against Hardy and married Amy.

Amy was not on Kane’s side, despite their marriage. She is also said to have stopped him from assisting his opponents during contests.

Furthermore, during Kane’s game versus Gene Snitsky, Kane landed on Amy by accident, resulting in a miscarriage.

Amy stood up for the Women’s division till November 2004 after a full miscarriage. She then challenged Stratus to a Women’s Championship bout with such grace.

In conclusion, she fought and defeated Stratus to claim her second WWE Women’s Championship. It was one of the greatest Women’s Championship matches ever seen in WWE.

Amy’s victory could not last for long because everything has an end. After a month, Stratus overcame her once more. So, on January 9, 2005, her Championship title came to an end.

She was severely injured again during the match. She had to skip the Women’s Championship match at Wrestlemania this time.

In March 2005, Amy returned to the ring as a mentor to Christy Hemme. Besides all of her training, Stratus vanquished her in the rage of Amy.

Back again, Amy got an opportunity and whacked out Stratus with her crutches. Thus, these all emerged her as a villain.

On the flip side, her connection with Kane ended as she helped Edge defeat him in the Raw Rush Tournament. Furthermore, she again enabled Edge to win a match against Hardy.

Despite this, she won her third Women’s Championship in August 2006 against the renowned Mickie James.

After that, however, she lost her all-time adversary Trish Stratus which went unforgiven in that Stratus’s retirement match. Later, her Retirement made her recover the vacant championship in November.

Retirement

Just after the retirement of Stratus, she also announced her retirement in 2006.

Meanwhile, the information was at the Survivor Series claiming that would be the last match of her career.

There, she got to fight with Mickie but lost.

In the end, she lost not just the match but also the title.

After Retirement

Making the official statements on retirement, she showed up very often in the ring.

In 2007, she debuted for United Wrestling Federation (U.W.F.) as a special guest referee.
