On February 20, 2014, Hamilton was dealt to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Aaron Brooks.

However, he was released by the Raptors on October 25. Two days later, the Utah Jazz claimed him off waivers.

In 24 games with Uşak, he averaged 13.5 points, 2.3 assists, and 6.8 rebounds per game.

However, on April 16, 2018, the player departed Uşak to join the Israeli team Hapoel Holon as a substitute for Glen Rice Jr. for the remainder of the season.

On July 12, 2018, he signed a one-year contract with Basket Brescia Leonessa.
