Jennifer Maia | Childhood and Early Life

Maia, a UFC fighter, was born and raised in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.

Her nationality is Brazilian, but her ethnicity is unknown.

The defeat came by armbar in the second round. But that didn’t deter Maia, who bounced back with a second-round submission victory over Tatiane Porfirio Aguiar at Pink-Fight 1 the following year.

Jennifer and Vanessa Porto also fought again at Pink-Fight 2.

Nonetheless, she withdrew from the competition to compete for the Cage Warriors female flyweight championship.

Jennifer suffered a controversial knockout loss against rising UFC fighter Sheila Gaff at Cage Warriors Fight Night 4.
