Harry Kane, should he stay or should he leave Tottenham?
SPECULATION ABOUT HARRY KANE’S FUTURE HAS RISEN AFTER REPORTS THAT THE PROMINENT STRIKER WOULD LIKE TO LEAVE TOTTENHAM.
After Spurs were defeated in the Carabao Cup final in April, the 27-year-old England captain stated that he wants to “win the biggest prizes, and we don’t do that.”
According to sources, Kane has not requested a formal move.
But, unsurprisingly, he believes he has a gentlemanly contract that will allow him to go this summer, despite Tottenham’s 13-year trophy drought.
So, should he stay or should he go? Is he capable of winning trophies and growing in size at Tottenham, or do you need to move elsewhere?
Maintain your status as a club legend
After assisting Blackburn to achieve victory in the Premier League in 1995.
In addition, in 1996, he won the European Championship.
Alan Shearer, their leading scorer, turned down Manchester United for the second time, abandoning them.
Prior to relocating to Ewood Park in 1992.
This time, he achieved a world record of £ 15 million for his hometown club Newcastle, just before turning 26.
While United continued to fill its Cabinet Cup, Shearer failed to win another trophy with Newcastle in ten years.
Nonetheless, the former England captain scored a goal for Newcastle and now has a portrait outside St James’ Park.
Francesco Totti has also rejected to come to Old Trafford, preferring to continue his career with Roma, where he has won the Serie A title on his own.
Matt Le Tissier claims he has no regrets about staying with Southampton after nearly joining Tottenham.
After leading Liverpool to the Champions League title in 2005, Steven Gerrard faced a major dilemma.
Chelsea had seen a request for a British record, but Gerrard expressed his desire to depart.
However, the next day, the 25-year-old changed his mind and signed a new contract with Red.
He hoped to put an end to his quest for the league title, which had returned in 1990.
Although the former England international was aware of the Premier League winners’ trophy, his move to Chelsea helped Manchester City win the title in 2014.
He is still honored at Anfield and will be welcomed back as manager after leading the Rangers to the Scottish title.
Tottenham, like Liverpool back then, has been pushed for the crown this season, reaching the 2019 Champions League and EFL Cup finals.
However, Kane will still raise the trophy after seven years, regardless of whether he chooses to bet.
It may depend on who replaces Jose Mourinho as the permanent manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
“Spurs should not sell Kane now because his contract is valid until 2024.
” And I don’t think they’ll buy it,” MOTD2 expert Jermaine Jenas predicted.
“They just need to keep him satisfied.” And one approach to do it is to begin playing on the front foot with more energy and in better shape.
Do you want to win trophies?
Shortly after assisting Tottenham in winning their most recent big title, the 2008 League Cup.
Dimitar Berbatov, 27, joined Manchester United, where he won two league titles in four years.
Sir Alex Ferguson desired after Manchester City won its first Premier League title in 2012.
On completing his outstanding career by making a final move to the transfer market.
He signed Robin van Persie, who had had one FA Cup win in eight years at Arsenal.
And he’d just recently become the Premier League’s top scorer.
The 29-year-old also won the Golden Boot when United won the trophy for the second time in 2013.
However, that will be the Dutch’s sole big honor in the next three years.
Andrew Cole was 23 when he set the British record from Newcastle to Manchester United in January 1995.
Despite winning eight major medals in seven years, Cole, Berbatov, and Van Persie were viewed in the same regard at Old Trafford. Shearer and Gerrard were both at their respective clubs.
“And the next season, Blackburn won the league.” We were nowhere near winning the championship.
“And that blew my head,” Shearer explained earlier this month.
“Tottenham’s play provides Harry Kane with a cause to depart the team.
” If I were in his shoes, I would search elsewhere for prizes.”
“It’s not just the Spurs team that would consider selling a major star to help fund the reconstruction,” Jenas said.
The issue is that because of the Covid pandemic, all of the clubs will be cash-strapped this summer.
“And it is true that now is not the time to sell your best player.
” Because you will not receive the same results as you did two years ago.”

Do goal-scoring records count in the absence of trophies?
Ask Alan Shearer if goals are necessary for the absence of trophies.
And he’ll point to a photograph of himself as a child standing in the yard, watching Newcastle.
He is primarily recognized for being the Premier League’s highest scorer (260), rather than winning the title with Blackburn.
Andrew Cole, on the other hand, won trophies and scored 187 goals in the Premier League.
But Shearer is rarely mentioned in the same sentence.
Wayne Rooney, Sergio Aguero, Frank Lampard, and Thierry Henry all won trophies while also serving as record labels for their respective clubs.
As a result, they were rarely confronted with Kane’s predicament.
He ranks seventh on the Premier League’s top scorers list with 165 goals.
Only Jimmy Greaves (266 goals) has scored more goals for Tottenham than Kane (220).
“He’ll be sick of hearing about his future,” Shearer told MOTD2.
“That’s what he decides, whether he wants to break Jimmy Greaves’ Tottenham record or not.
” Or even my Premier League record.
“Have you been given a good chance to do that?” Or do you want to go out and win the league championship somewhere else?
“It’s likely that just a few clubs can pay what Tottenham demands.
” However, he has been assured of goals with him. There will be no gambling.”
