Harald Baldr discusses marriage in the Himalayas
On January 24, 2022, Harald Baldr YouTuber released ‘Hard Rock Cafe Himalaya,’ one of his numerous videos while visiting Nepal.
In the 30th minute of the video, Baldr engages in a conversation about marriage with Kartok Lama.
He inquired of Kartok about the marriage rituals and how they found a wife or groom in her village.
“We are searching from another village,” she said, “since everyone knows each other in this area,” Baldr continued.
The YouTuber then encouraged Kartok to question an elderly woman sitting nearby about how she got married.
“She went to India, and her husband also went to India, [where] they met and [were] married,” Kartok replied after questioning an elderly Tibetan woman.
Baldr then stated that he would have to travel to another village to locate a wife.
Kartok accepted and then indicated that she would accompany him and locate him a suitable wife.
“Wife searching next time,” Baldr replied, and they burst out laughing.
After a while, another woman in her early to late 60s joined them.
Locals nearby stated that she is willing to marry Baldr.
“She appears to be prepared. Does she like my fair skin, or do I need to brown a little? “, the YouTuber inquired.
“OK, they put me up in the village. “I might never leave,” Baldr joked.
They all talk about the marriage more and make jokes about it.
Baldr then pointed to his tea, saying, “I’m glad there’s no alcohol in this tea because I might actually do it.”
A local then asked if Baldr wanted some Raksi [alcohol], to which the YouTuber replied that he won’t have it today because “things will happen.”
Kartok then offered rice beer, which they were going to share, but Baldr denied it again, citing his recovery from food poisoning.
Later, they all enjoyed more fun and chatted.
“Oh man, they’re really pushing for the marriage in there,” Baldr commented as he walked out of the cafe.
“You’re the worst one,” he joked to Kartok.
Kartok then drove Baldr to where he was going to spend the night.
After arriving at the location, there was more conversation.

And the answer, which was previously unknown, has finally been revealed.

“You never know what will happen,” Baldr responded.
Later, Kartok asked Baldr for the ideal age of the woman he is looking for.
He responded, “My perfect age for a woman has always been 29.”
I admired girls who were 29 when I was 19.
I enjoy 29-year-old girls now that I’m 40.”
