Stephen Curry, the best player for the Golden State Warriors, stumbled back to the bench during the game against Houston and sustained a bruised tail bone.

He left their 108-94 victory against the Houston Rockets early last week after landing awkwardly on concrete.

Everyone assumed it might be a minor injury, but only Curry’s quick recovery is taking longer than anticipated.

Curry will miss another week, according to the most recent report from GSW coach Steve Kerr.

Another week of absence for Stephen Curry. I had an MRI this morning, and according to Kerr, “It showed inflammation in that tailbone.”

He will therefore miss at least three more games. It will take a little bit longer than we anticipated, Kerr remarked.

Last week’s injury to Stephen Curry

Curry missed a 3-point attempt from the wing in the final seconds of the third quarter and fell backward.

Curry backpedaled off the court while attempting to regain his equilibrium and landed squarely on his tailbone.

Even though his hands were behind him, there was nothing to stop him from falling.

Curry immediately moved in pain on the ground before making a slow exit into the locker room.

Following his tumble at the Toyota Center in the third quarter, Curry was diagnosed with a tailbone contusion and declared out.

While only making 2-of-11 shots from outside the arc, he ended the game with 18 points and eight assists.

Following the game, GSW coach Steve Kerr provided an injury update.

According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Kerr remarked, “No idea if he’ll play in Memphis [on Friday].

But he seems to believe that in the coming week or so, everything will be OK. We shall see.

“Don’t assume he’s gone for a week. For all I know, he might be back practicing tomorrow.

Coach Kerr was unconcerned by the accident since he wanted Steph to get better quickly, but the severity of his injury was worse than anticipated.

In Stephen’s absence, GSW intends to make a statement

After getting hurt against the Grizzles, Stephen missed two games and didn’t play for the Warriors.

It appears that Stephen will miss three more games, starting with today’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers and continuing through games on Friday and Saturday against the Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks, respectively.

Warriors’ coach decided to give him even more time to relax so that he would return in even greater health.

James Wiseman of GSW and Eric Paschall of the Warriors both start the match.

The Warriors are altering their starting lineup for good. “I anticipate James (Wiseman) will start for the remainder of the season,” said Steve Kerr.

James Wiseman will now serve as the Warriors’ starting center, according to Coach Kerr.

Stephen Curry won’t be starting, thus Jordan Poole will. Steve Kerr: “He was even the clear winner in yesterday’s practice scrimmage.

He’s so full of self-assurance right now. It’s wonderful to see. playing well and getting opportunities in the future.

Stephen missed the opportunity to let other players shine

On the one hand, the tragic injury suffered by Stephen Curry is bad news for the Warriors, his team, and the fans.

On the other side, his injury provides an opportunity for other players to flourish and demonstrate their talent.

Curry missed both of GSW’s games against the Grizzles, which resulted in the Warriors winning one and losing the other.

The Warriors witnessed spectacular plays from players like Jordan Poole, who continued his hot shooting by scoring 26 points and handing out five assists, despite their defeat.
