Dwayne Jones: Professional

During his time in high school, Jones started playing basketball seriously, and many people admired him for his skill set.

Some claimed that if he put in the effort, he might qualify for the Division III game.

Following that phase, Dwayne received a scholarship offer from Saint Joseph’s University.

His exposure to this school was little because it didn’t frequently feature on national television.

But by 2004, he had grown to be a crucial member of Saint Joseph’s undefeated squad.

At that time, Jones was also a top seed for the NCAA tournament.

Jones had several player titles and trophies coming his way, and his 418 rebounds were the second-best total in a single season in school history.

The Competitive Field

Jones participated in the 2005 NBA Draft after graduating from St. Joe’s, but he was not selected.

Later, in the same year, the Minnesota Timberwolves signed him as an undrafted rookie free agent.

They quickly transferred him to the Florida Flame of the NBA Development League.

A year later, after he had played in 26 games, they traded him to the Boston Celtics.

In October 2006, the group dealt him to the Cleveland Cavaliers after fourteen games.
