Early Career

Bruno’s grandpa, Milton da Silva, was the first to transform him into a motor racer because he was born in Sao Paulo.

On the family estate, he drove go-karts alongside Ayrton, and Ayrton honestly recognized his nephew’s dormancy.

Ayrton’s death at the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994 brought Bruno’s own racing career to a halt.

Despite numerous obstacles, including his father’s death in a motorcycle accident in 1996, Senna’s mother and uncle Ayrton’s sister Viviane had hesitantly supported her son’s motor racing career.

Senna was handed an example of his uncle’s 1986 Lotus 98T as a tip from an Italian friend on the 10th centenary of his uncle’s death, at Imola in 2004.

Senna hit the car at Interlagos, where Ayrton had won in 1991 and 1993, during the 2004 Brazilian Grand Prix rally in So Paulo.

Similarly, Gerhard Berger, Ayrton’s McLaren colleague from 1990 to 1992, is a close friend of the Senna family and has guided Senna on his job.

Senna’s sister, Bianca, on the other hand, has been in charge of his events and sponsorship.

Following the incident, Bruno drove for Carlin Motorsport in six Formula BMW UK races in 2004, scoring six points.

Formula Three (2005–2006)

In 2005, Senna moved to the British Formula Three Championship, driving for the Räikkönen Robertson Racing team, which was owned by former McLaren Formula One driver Kimi Räikkönen and his firm directors David and Steve Robertson.

He finished eighth in the final rankings after three podium finishes in the last seven races of the term.

Bruno continued with the squad and took five victories in 2006, finishing third in the competition behind champion and teammate Mike Conway and Oliver Jarvis.

At Oulton Park, he won the first two races of the set in the rain. He also won the first race at Donington Park and subsequently the second race at Mugello in Italy, all in open competition.

Bruno had a major collision in the opening race of round five of the calendar at Snetterton while riding a Dallara F304 in a stake race at the 2006 Australian Grand Prix.

On stage 2, he and Hitech Racing’s Salvador Durán banged engines on the Revett Straight at approximately 150 mph (240 km/h).

Bruno’s automobile sped away from the only ere the link, and it’s possible that he severed it while cartwheeling through the area.

Bruno was rumored to be deciding on a Formula One team by October of 2006. For the 2007 GP2 Series, he indicated that he will join the Red Bull-sponsored Arden International team.

He finished fourth on his debut in Bahrain and went on to win his first race in Spain’s showcase race. Bruno attempted to blame bad casts in the only race in Monaco.

Bruno competed in the third stage of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli European set Silverstone on the 9th and 10th of June 2007, during a four-week break in the GP2 series amid Monaco and French races.

Bruno won both races in an F430 on the weekend dedicated to Ferrari’s 60th-anniversary celebration, triggering each post.

Bruno is competing for iSport International in the 2008 GP2 Series at Silverstone. Bruno finished 26th and last at Silverstone due to a mix-up during qualifying on Friday.

He won the GP2 Feature race at Monte Carlo, marking the first time in 15 years that Bruno’s name has appeared at the top of the state’s leaderboards.

It also propelled Bruno to the top of the points standings, despite the fact that he finished second to Giorgio in Giorgio’s competition.

The Le Mans Series (2009)

Bruno is competing in the 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans for Oreca. He’d been keeping his eyes peeled for a Formula One race.

Formula One

At the 2008 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Bruno describes a Ferrari 312B2 Formula One car.

He tested a contemporary Formula One car for the first time in November 2008, when he tested for Honda in Barcelona.

Honda placed a high priority on the Brazilian during their first winter test, which took place on November 17–19 at the Circuit de Catalunya.

His responsibilities included an initial familiarization with Honda’s RA108 automobile and policies before moving on to a full program.

The crew was supposed to evaluate his performance, exceptional abilities, and ability to work as part of a noble team.

Despite Bruno coming within 0.3 seconds of then-Honda F1 racing champion Jenson Button across the three-day test region.

He declined to accept a contract with Mercedes for the 2009 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters season in order to focus solely on his Formula One prospects.

As his uncle Ayrton Senna won his first race with Team Lotus, Bruno told the BBC that he did not want to broadcast Lotus because of stupid ideas.

He also included the BBC, which he had been discussing with Manor GP, Campos Meta, and one specific piece of equipment rumored to be Brawn GP.

The previous season, he was on the verge of securing a drive, but Barrichello replaced him with Brawn.

Rubens Barrichello acknowledged that he was lucky to be promoting Brawn. “I’m just fortunate that F1 has developed a little bit at this moment,” Barrichello added.

He also desired for Bruno, the best candidate, claiming that he was only in a predicament because Ross Brawn chose the more mature candidate due to a shortage of trial time.

HRT (2010)

Bruno is competing in his first Formula One race for Hispania Racing in the 2010 Bahrain Grand Prix.

Bruno announced on October 30, 2009, that he has signed a deal to race in Formula One in 2010. Adrián Campos confirmed his intention to ride with Campos Meta.

After Campos was taken over by José Ramón Carabante, it was uncertain whether Bruno still had the desire, with new side chief Colin Kolles advising the new-look club that they would need to find other sources of money.

Without Bruno’s knowledge, they assessed the real process and declared the driver line up in the proper direction. On March 2, Campos announced a name change to Hispania Racing.

Karun Chandhok was approved as Senna’s partner two days later.

At the 2010 Belgian Grand Prix, Bruno wore a basic golden helmet to promote a contest in which fans could design his helmet for the next year’s home event.

He was replaced for the British Grand Prix after nine races, with Sakon Yamamoto taking his place.

He moved on to the driver’s seat for the German Grand Prix, with Yamamoto in the crew’s other vehicle after Chandhok.

HRT indicated on January 7, 2011, that he will not prompt them during the 2011 term.

Renault (2011)

Bruno announced a search and alternate driver for the Renault crew on January 31, 2011.

On the Saturday and Sunday of the four-day inquiry in Jerez on February 9th, the team proved that Bruno would be dealing with testing services with Nick Heidfeld.

Williams (2012)

At the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix, Bruno made his debut for Williams. On January 17, 2012, he was approved as a Williams operator, and he paired up with Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado.

Bruno initially eluded his family’s grace before joining the crew, as his uncle was driving for Williams at the time of his demise.

He qualified 14th for the Australian Grand Prix and lined up alongside Felipe Massa in the race’s closing stages; both drivers later agreed it was a racing incident.

He was placed 16th, having constructed around 90% of the raceways.

Bruno made his first tips for Williams at the Malaysian Grand Prix, finishing sixth, for which he earned eight points after entering the race in tumultuous conditions on March 25.

In Sepang, he made a choice that resulted in more points for the team than Williams did for the 2011 season.

After scrapping due to curb effects, Bruno finished 7th in China and 22nd in Bahrain.

Aston Martin (2013–2014)

Bruno will compete with Aston Martin Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship on February 5, 2013, as well as the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2013.

He and his co-drivers got off to a fantastic start in the competition, winning at Silverstone and then securing a podium at Spa.

On March 7, 2014, Bruno attached Sky Sports F1’s line-up for seven races: China, Malaysia, Singapore, Hungary, the United States, Russia, and Brazil.
