I was severely assaulted in the face by a pit bull on November 3rd; my entire top lip and margins of my nose are completely ripped off.

How quickly your life may alter so drastically is mind-boggling. Despite my best efforts to maintain my composure in the face of this terrible situation, I will admit that I am scared of what lies ahead for me, or even the possibility that I will ever be able to smile or eat normally again.

This is the beginning of a protracted journey of healing. I detest asking for anything, but if you were to pray to God on my behalf, it would mean everything. Please remember to give someone you love an embrace today.

Her life was irrevocably altered as a result of the incident. She refused to give up in the face of everything and recommenced live with the same delight. After the pitbull incident, she added some images to her Instagram. She added the following:
