Early Career and Education
Upper School
Brock began his academic career in his native Fort Worth, Texas.
He enrolled at Stephenville High School to complete his high school studies, where he received his diploma in 2006.
Despite only hitting.227 in his rookie season, he was named to the All-District 8-4A Baseball team. She also shared the prize for the year’s best newbie.
In the 6-4A district, Holt was named defensive player of the year in 2005. His outstanding performance earned him all-district recognition during his final year at the high school.
Career in College
In 2007, after graduating from Stephenville High School, he enrolled at Navarro College.

Professional Career
Holt was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the ninth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft.
Little Leagues
The State College Spikes, a Class-A affiliate of the short-season Pittsburgh Pirates, will be Holt’s first professional team.
He first played with Spikes for a while before joining the Bradenton Marauders in 2010.
