The two actors, who now live in South London, initially met during the production of Joe Orton’s stage piece Entertaining Mr. Sloane.

Ben and Ian have lived together since then, keeping their love lives fairly hidden.

However, as social media has evolved, Jupiter’s Legacy actor has been frequently seen on Instagram sharing images with his long-time lover.

On December 25, 2018, Ben took to Instagram and posted a selfie with the Game of Thrones star, which was taken at the Brooklyn Bridge.

“I’m just strolling to Christmas lunch with the hubby. “#brooklynbridge #merrychristmas,” he wrote beside the photo.

Gelder, Ian Is known as ‘Game of Thrones’ by Kevan Lannister

Ian, Ben Daniels’s companion, is no ordinary person.

He is a veteran English actor best known for his depiction of Kevan Lannister, Lord Tywin Lannister’s younger brother, in the HBO drama series Game of Thrones.

In addition, Ian has appeared as Mr. Dekker in the 2009 TV show Torchwood: Children of Earth, Zellin in the 2020 medical drama Doctor Who, and as Ripper Street and Riviera on Netflix.

On June 3, 1949, the actor was born.

Ben Daniels came out of the closet when he was 24 years old

When Ben Daniels was a teenager, the multi-award-winning actor was certain of his sexuality.

But one thing he wasn’t sure about was telling his folks the truth.

“I’d never truly discussed being gay with my parents because we don’t have a particularly deep emotional relationship,” Ben told the Standard UK in June 2004.

He was the sole son of his parents, who also had an older and younger sister.

His father was a Rolls Royce engineer who eventually became a grocer, while his mother ran a children’s clothing store.

When a newspaper published a piece detailing Ben’s homosexuality, the first thing Ben did was phone his parents and tell them not to buy or read the newspaper.

“I had to call them then and advise them not to buy the papers, not to get furious, and that not everything was real,” he added.

“It’s your family who suffers as a result of that.”

Ben, on the other hand, opted to come out of the closet at the age of 24.

He came out as gay while performing in an all-star benefit production of Martin Sherman’s Bent.
