Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams’ husband, gets nostalgic and shares an old photo of himself
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s love story began in 2015 in Rome, as is well known. They’ve come a long way since then, having married and welcomed their baby daughter Olympia in 2017.
The Williams family is currently in London, where Serena is preparing for the Wimbledon Championships.
Meanwhile, Ohanian resorted to social media to recall a day when he met Serena and saw her play for the first time.

Ohanian had previously tweeted a photo of his wife, Serena Williams, on his official Twitter account.
That photo was taken at the Rome Masters in 2015 when Ohanian first met the American tennis legend. “2015,” he wrote in the caption.
Notably, Ohanian was staying in the same hotel as Serena while the latter competed in the Rome Masters in 2015.
The Reddit co-founder sat at Serena’s table for breakfast one morning and ended up receiving a ticket to her match at the Italian Open.

The next December, Ohanian proposed to Serena at the exact same hotel and table.

Serena Williams will compete for her 24th Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in 2022
Serena spent nearly a year training for her comeback after quitting Wimbledon last year owing to injury.
She is now back on the court, ready to contend for her 24th Grand Slam title.
Serena learned after the draw that she will meet French tennis player Harmony Tan in the first round of Wimbledon.
She did, however, get a rough draw.
To win the championship, she may have to compete against Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek, Simona Halep, and others.
It will be intriguing to watch how far she progresses in her final Wimbledon.
