Who is Morihei Ueshiba?
Morihei Ueshiba is a legendary Japanese man who founded the Japanese martial art of aikido. Morihei Ueshiba was a well-known martial arts instructor who spent most of his life learning and teaching noble art.
Ueshiba, interestingly, was once a sickly child who was weak and fragile.
The majority of people regarded him as the founder, Kaiso, or Osensei, a Great Teacher.
He was also the son of a landowner, thus he studied a variety of martial arts as an adult.
In 1926, he relocated to Tokyo and established the Aikikai Hombu Dojo.
