15. Novak Djokovic vs. Roger Federer,  (2019)

The most recent match to make this list is the Wimbledon final in 2019.

Many people backed Roger Federer in what was regarded as one of the best tennis matchups.

Unfortunately, despite playing well, Novak Djokovic was able to fend them off and win the match.

Furthermore, the match lasted almost 5 hours, and Djokovic and Federer would have fought for far longer under the old rules.

Wimbledon changed the format to a fifth-set tiebreak when the final set reached 12-all.

Djokovic, on the other hand, won the tiebreak 7-3 by making good plays.

14. Stan Wawrinka vs. Novak Djokovic

The 2015 French Open Final between Stan Wawrinka and Novak Djokovic is sometimes overlooked; nonetheless, it may be one of the most unexpected losses in tennis history.

Stan Wawrinka defeated Roger Federer in the quarterfinals and Novak Djokovic in four sets in the finals during this encounter.

Despite the fact that his last triumph came in 2012, many assumed that his championship days were over.

Federer was able to gain the much-needed break despite Roddick’s outstanding serving. Roger Federer eventually won the championship with a score of 5-7, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (5), 3-6, 16-14.

9. Rafael Nadal vs. Novak Djokovic

It is known as the longest Grand Slam Final in sports history.

The Australian Open Final between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal in 2012 was a long and hard one.

The crowd could tell that both players struggled to keep their cool throughout the contest.

Although both were still playing well in the late fifth set, Nadal’s near-victory was maybe the most frustrating part for him.

He took the lead early in the fifth set, breaking Djokovic’s serve and leading 4-2.

8. Andre Agassi vs. Pete Sampras
