Background in Mixed Martial Arts

The Ultimate Fighter 18: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate sparked Nadia Kassem’s initial interest in mixed martial arts.

It is a mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament and reality TV show from the United States, made by FOX Sports.

Her brother’s involvement in MMA competitions also gave her the idea to pursue a career in the sport. She subsequently began MMA training.

Nadia started her MMA career as an amateur. Later, she defeated an MMA opponent 4-0. Kassem was subsequently hired by UFC.

MMA before UFC

The MMA fighter from Australia began her professional career there.

She made her professional fighting debut with Urban Fight Night in Australia (UFN). UFN is a Sydney-based MMA promotion business.
