Career Statistics
As an offensive midfielder, Ferretti is well-known in the football world. He is renowned for his charisma, agility, and sure-footed talents.
He was also an expert at free kicks and played for Pumas UNAM for the majority of his career. He also represented prestigious Brazilian teams like Vasco da Gama, Bonsucesso, and Botafogo.

UNAM Pumas

Going back to Tigres UANL
But Ricardo resigned as manager in 2010 after the Pumas were bounced from the playoffs. Tigres seized the chance without delay. In 2010, Tigres rehired Ferretti as their head coach.
He led the group to the championship during the 2011 campaign.
The Tigres won the game in the end. After defeating rival Santos Laguna, the Tigres clinched the Apertura 2011 league championship.
The Tigres had not won a championship in 29 years. The trophy for the tournament’s top manager went to Ricardo.
Ricardo guided the Tigress to the Copa Libertadores championship in 2015. The Tigres were the third team from Mexico to do so.
