In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Glen attended Louisiana State University Laboratory School. Glen was already the 13th best player in the country at the age of 18.

He was one of the best three forwards in the United States in 2004.

Career in College

He led the LSU Tigers to the national semifinals during his sophomore year of 2006. David aided the squad in reaching the Final Four for the first time in 20 years.

When the Seattle Supersonics drafted Big Baby as the 35th overall pick in 2007, he was able to play for the Celtics in the 2007 Summer league team.

Because so many players had left the Celtics, Davis expected to see a lot of action during his first season. Instead, even though he was a forward during the regular season, he got to play backup center.

His first game came against the Sacramento Kings when he scored 16.0 points and grabbed 9.0 rebounds in a 90-78 win for the Celtics.

The game against the Detroit Pistons in January 2008 was a watershed moment for him, as he scored 16 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter.

He joined Celtics for two more seasons with a $6.1 million contract. During the 2010 Eastern Conference finals play versus Orlando Magic, he suffered a severe concussion.
