Richard Madeley is a television presenter, author, and journalist. Richard Madeley is one of three relief presenters for ITV’s Good Morning Britain. He has also appeared on This Morning with his wife, Judy Finnigan.

Richard Madeley was born on May 13, 1956, in Romford, Essex, England, in the United Kingdom. Richard’s age is 66.
Richard is the son of Christopher Holt Madeley and Mary Claire Madeley. Furthermore, his father was a well-known journalist, and his mother was born in Canada.
Unfortunately, his father died at the age of 49 while Richard was on his honeymoon.

Since August 2017, Madeley has worked as a relief presenter on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, a breakfast show.
In February 2022, Richard faced backlash from the Good Morning Britain Fans after he questioned whether the death threats experienced by Keith Starmer were ‘that a big deal’.
However, this is not the first time he has faced backlash from fans; in October 20121, Richard was chastised by BGMB fans for commenting on Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, during the Earth ShotPrize Awards.
Furthermore, while working for Good Morning Britain, Richard was appointed as The Telegraph’s agony uncle to succeed Graham Norton.
Previously, from 1988 to 2001, he was the co-host of This Morning with his wife Judy. However, the pair did leave ITV to work for Channel 4 as the hosts of Richard and Judy.
Richard and his wife apologized live on-air in 2007 after discovering a TV quiz phone scam involving the daily phone-in competition You Say We Pay while working for Channel 4.
Following their time at Channel 4, Richard and his wife presented Richard and Judy’s New Position for Watch. However, due to low viewership, the show was canceled in May 2009.
