Seth Andrews is an atheist author, podcaster, activist, and speaker from the United States. Professional Career
Andrews set up a website and a Facebook page called The Thinking Atheist.
The goal of the website was to connect with other non-believers online and share some of the information that Seth had found useful in the hopes of making others’ journey out of superstition (religion) easier.
Now, Seth sees the website as a place where people can express their doubts and question their faith. Later, he launched and began hosting The Thinking Atheist weekly podcast.
The podcast seeks to dispel stereotypes that portray atheists as angry or religious people as stupid.
He has a YouTube channel called The Thinking Atheist.
Seth hosts a lot of self-produced atheist-related videos in an attempt to debunk Christian claims. At the same time, he gives public speeches about atheism.
Seth also discusses skeptical topics such as chakras, supernatural healing, alternative medicine, and the application of critical thinking to those topics.
Seth’s podcast shows are organized by topic rather than the number, which he claims makes it easier for listeners to find something they like.
In 2004, he watched a video of atheist Christopher Hitchens debating Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. Seth’s faith was shaken by the video.
