Tamra Judge, a longtime Real Housewives of Orange County star, is set to return for the 17th season of the hit Bravo reality show. She announced her return to the show as a full-time Housewife on Wednesday during an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
She previously announced her departure from the show after season 14 in 2020.
“The judge has returned, and drama is in session,” Judge declared.
“Ladies and gentlemen, it’s true — Tamra Judge is returning to the Real Housewives of Orange County,” Cohen added to her statement.
The reality star then told Cohen that she was “1000 percent more energized” about appearing on the show now that she had a “totally different perspective.”
“I think being off for two years was probably the best thing you could have done to me, even though I didn’t like it,” she explained.
I was on the show for 12 years, and after that, you’re a professional Housewife.”
Later, the diva tweeted the exciting news, including the exact words she spoke during the show.
Fans have been sending her messages of congratulations across all social media platforms since then.
“ICON!!! “This season is going to be IT,” a fan wrote on Twitter.
“Now that’s how you make an announcement!” said another.
Judge first appeared on RHOC in 2007, during its third season, and remained a regular for the next 12 seasons.
As previously stated, she was fired in January 2020, ahead of season 15.
During her time on RHOC, she was known as one of the most outspoken and opinionated stars, providing some of the show’s most memorable moments.
