Zoe Kazan and Paul Dano Expecting Second Child

Zoe Kazan is expecting her second child with her husband Paul Dano. The Ruby Sparks actress flaunted her baby bump on the cover of the latest issue of Marie Claire, which also featured Kazan’s new film, She Said.

In the cover photo, the diva posed in a red strapless gown by Max Mara alongside costar Carey Mulligan and journalists Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, who wrote the book on which the film is based.

A representative for the Big Sick star could not be reached, and Dano had no comment.

Kazan sparked pregnancy rumors last month while attending the New York Film Festival premiere of She Said.

The Yale University graduate walked the red carpet with Dano in an ivory Simone Rocha ruffled gown.

Since 2007, the Clickbait alum and the Little Miss Sunshine actor have been dating.

The two have collaborated on several projects over the years, including co-starring in 2012’s Ruby Sparks, which Kazan also wrote, and co-writing the screenplay for Dano’s directorial debut, Wildlife, in 2018.

In 2018, the couple welcomed their first child, Alma. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in October 2018, Dano confirmed the baby’s arrival.

“I’m so tired and so in love,” the There Will Be Blood actor said at the time of fatherhood.

“It’s so out there. In one sense, your heart has gone supernova.

And then we got back from London last week, and she cried for like 24 hours straight, and you just want to walk through a wall. It’s insane.”

Kazan did not discuss her pregnancy with Marie Claire, but she did explain why “scenes of motherhood” in She Said are so “important” to her.

“Everyone talks about work-life balance, but it’s also really difficult to balance your priorities,” she explained to the publication.

“I wanted to be the one who drove my daughter to her first day of preschool, but I couldn’t because I felt like this job, this work, was more important.” And the other way around.

I was just relieved to read a script that represented that and allowed me to put that part of myself in there.”
