Karren Brady’s professional history

After being rejected from a journalism study at Harlow College, Karren Brady began her work as a trainee with the advertising agency “Saatchi & Saatchi.”

When she joined the London Broadcasting Company as an advertising account executive a year later, she targeted one of her father’s top clients, publisher David Sullivan.

David is the owner of the Daily Sport and the Sunday Sport newspapers.

She eventually managed to impress Sullivan, who employed her.

Karren was also offered a job with Sport Newspapers and became one of his directors at the age of 20.
