Unlike Mike’s prior lovers, Sol did not have the advantages that being in a relationship with a celebrity athlete would have provided.

Aside from that, there isn’t much to say about Tyson’s ex-girlfriend, especially when it comes to her life before meeting the famed boxer. She is most likely a celebrity’s least-mentioned ex-relative.

At A Strip Club, Xochitl Met Mike Tyson

Tyson reveals that he and Sol met at a strip joint in Phoenix, Arizona. Sol, who Mike refers to in his biography as Shelley, was a stripper when she first met the boxer.

“She kept her house spotless, and she did a lot for me.” She was a fitness fanatic, so when I’d work out and go for a run, she’d join me. I had run five miles, and she had run ten. She was continually outdoing me.”

Michael informs Shelley that he tried to improve their relationship.

He promised she’d speak with Mike’s buddy, Hope, and get some pointers on how to keep him pleased.

Sol was a fitness nut; not even Mike could compete with her

In the book, Mike describes a time when he and his helper Darryl were throwing a fifteen-pound medicine ball about and Shelley joined in on the fun.

Iron Mike goes on to describe how he and Sol threw the ball 250 times and he felt sore, but she kept throwing it with Darryl.

“This ninety-pound Mexican girl must have done 500 tosses.” “She wore our a$$ down.”

Mike writes about his ex-girlfriend.

Mike was completely bankrupt when Xochitl began dating him

During the period Sol was dating Tyson, the latter owed approximately $27 million, $17 million of which was for past taxes owed to the IRS and the English tax authorities.

The remaining $10 million was for personal bills, which included money owed to his former wife, Monica, from the divorce, mortgages, and massive legal fees.

Tyson claims he was so overwhelmed and irritated by the bankruptcy process that he simply gave up his residence. He goes on to tell how, despite the fact that he had no fight booked, he worked out and got high regardless.

Meanwhile, he spent time in Phoenix with Sol. According to the New Yorker, he and his then-girlfriend, Xochitl, were eating Frosted Flakes and Twizzlers for dinner.

Tyson reveals that every now and then, he’d set up an autograph signing somewhere and charge $25 for each one, just to get over the hump.

Sol Nearly Missed Having Her Son Juan Miguel Leon

Mike admits to Sol that she did not want Miguel Leon. The boxer admits that he was in a difficult financial situation and had no idea how he would care for another child.

By that time, I was bankrupt and in debt. She kept claiming she was going to have an abortion, but she never did.

Miguel Leon, on the other hand, got to travel the world and is now a multi-instrumentalist who plays the drums, guitar, and piano.

When Sol became pregnant with Tyson’s late daughter, Exodus, the timing was once again off

Tyson was struggling financially when his then-girlfriend, Xochitl, became pregnant with her second and Tyson’s fifth kid, Exodus.

Tyson had paid a large fine to a local guy after Sol had just given birth to Exodus. The boxer had caused damage to his car before the birth of his late daughter.

As a result, Mike attempted to get him into a fight so that he could make quick money. He would later face Kevin McBride but would lose to him. Tyson announced his retirement from fighting shortly after the fight.

Sol Xochitl did everything she could to keep her daughter alive

Sol and her then-partner would suffer the hardest day of their lives on May 26, 2009, with the death of their daughter, Exodus.

Their daughter was playing on a treadmill at their Arizona home when she became entangled in a cord.

Exodus then lost consciousness, after which her brother Miguel discovered her and her mother arrived. After loosening her daughter, Sol, who was cleaning the house, quickly dialed 911.

Documents later indicated that Exodus’ mother “tried everything she could when this awful catastrophe occurred.”

According to Sgt Andy Hill, Xochitl began CPR and continued until police and firefighters arrived. The dispatcher’s call to Shelley revealed that she had discovered blood in her baby’s mouth.

The dispatcher then told her to clear the blood and begin CPR, which she did. According to the 911 logs, Shelley called a dispatcher and said, “My baby! “She’s suffocated!”

The call record also stated that Xochitl was constantly crying while yet attempting to get her daughter to breathe.

Despite this, Sol would lose her daughter the next day when she was transported to St. Joseph’s hospital.

Why did Xochitl vanish?

Xochitl became a completely lost name after the awful tragedy of her daughter’s death.

Mike claims in his book, Undisputed Truth, that after Exodus died, she was unable to care for her second child, Miguel.

While there’s no doubting she’s still grieving the loss of her four-year-old daughter, the anguish may have subsided to some level.

For the time being, Xochitl is just another name once associated with a much-discussed figure who has since been completely eclipsed into obscurity.
