Stella Ritter is an American actress. Stella Ritter is the celebrity child of John Ritter, the late actor, and Amy Yasbick, his wife. His late father, John Ritter, and mother, Yasbick, both have significant roles in television shows and films.

Stella Ritter’s Bio

Stella Ritter was born on September 11, 2003, to John Ritter and his wife, Amy Yasbeck.

Getty Tex is also a Country Music Hall of Fame inductee.

Dorothy Fay, Ritter’s grandmother, and John’s mother was an actress best known for her roles in Western films such as Frontier Scout (1938), Song of the Buckaroo (1938), Sundown on the Prairie (1939), Rollin’ Westward (1939), and Rainbow Over the Range (1939).

Ritter’s mother, with her red hair, could very well be of Irish or Scottish ancestry.

Stella attended a co-op nursery for two years.

Stella Ritter’s Given Name

In her book, With Love And Laughter, John Ritter, Yasbeck explains how she came up with the name Stella for her one and only child with John.

Amy writes that when she was pregnant with Stella, they were in Italy and didn’t know the gender of the baby.

They had previously traveled to the canals in gondolas, feasted in trattorias, and huddled in cathedrals.

Amy claims that on the last day of their vacation, John struggled to get their luggage out of the boat near the train station.

It was then that her gaze was drawn to the statue of Mary. Stella’s mother describes how enthralled she was by the statuette.

The lengthy Latin inscription at the base of the statue, however, caught her attention.

For hundreds of years, people referred to the figurine as Stella Maris or the Star of the Sea.

She then ran up to John and told him that if they ever had a girl, they should name her Stella.

Ritter’s Well-Known Parents

Stella’s actors-parents married in Ohio on September 18, 1999.

On the set of NBC’s Wings, they met and fell in love.

According to sources close to the couple, John and Yasbeck fell in love on the set of Hearts Afire.

Stella’s father was still married to Nancy at the time, but they divorced in September 1996, and the actor married Amy on September 18, 1999.

They also appeared in the 1991 film Problem Child 2.

Prior to Yasbeck, John had two sons and a daughter with actress Nancy Morgan.

In a 2010 interview with Today, John’s widow Yasbeck stated that her husband, Stella’s father, died on September 11, 2003.

Amy expressed how devastating the death news was for her children.

The day also happened to be Stella’s fifth birthday, which was an unlucky coincidence.

Her first day of school was also a couple of days away.

Ritter’s father collapsed on the set of his hit show, 8 Simple Rules…for Dating My Teenage Daughter, when he was only 54 years old.

On the set, the Emmy winner became very ill, sweating, vomiting, and complaining of chest pains.

They drove him across town to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center.

However, the doctor misdiagnosed him and treated him for a heart attack. On the table, John eventually died.

According to later reports, the primary cause of death was an undiagnosed aortic dissection.

Ritter Underwent A Gene Test

Stella’s mother took a revolutionary approach to save her children from the same fate after learning that her husband died as a result of a misdiagnosis.

In the early months of 2010, she collaborated with Dr. Milewicz and her UT-Houston team to identify the genes that contributed to the death of the Three’s Company actor.

Around 10,000 people were encouraged to collect their gene samples by the Wings star.

The findings of a study assisted them in isolating four genes associated with aortic aneurysms.

Stella, Yasbeck’s then-11-year-old daughter, and John’s three older children were also among the subjects.

Stella was subjected to yearly scanning for many years after that.

Stella Ritter Decided to Transform Her Gender

Stella decided to transition into a man in September 2016.

Ritter later changed her gender, which came with an official name change. Stella’s new name would be Noah Lee Ritter.

Stella Ritter Went Private After Changing His Gender

Stella has gone into hiding from the public since the gender switch by privatizing all of her socials.

There have only been a few images of him since his surgery.

Some photos that have surfaced show him with facial hair, presumably from the treatments he’s been receiving.

An Instagram photo of Noah with a mustache and chin stubble has since been removed.

As a result, it’s anyone’s guess what he’s up to these days.
