The ACE Family Says

With over 18 million subscribers, The ACE Family is one of the most popular family vloggers on YouTube. Austin McBroom and his wife Catherine McBroom stated in a March vlog that they would leave YouTube at the end of 2022 to travel.

But before they left, they wanted to say goodbye to their followers.

To do this, they announced the creation of an event dubbed “Disneyland meets Coachella,” complete with a petting zoo and musical entertainment.

The ACE Family Fest was “a one-day festival for people of all ages, lasting from midday to 10 p.m.,” according to the event’s website.

They went on to say that the festival would offer “free games, free rides, free awards, and more.”

A three-person ticket is $299, and a five-person ticket costs $499,

which includes the opportunity to meet Austin and Catherine in person.

Many others thought the tickets were excessive, especially when compared to a one-day Disneyland pass, which started at $104.

People claim that the Ace Family Fest was a sham

Netizens alleged the event was a fraud in the days preceding it, comparing it to the Fyre Festival and TanaCon.

Regardless of their feelings, the festival took place on July 10, 2022.

Unfortunately, the majority of people were dissatisfied.

They stated in comments and videos that the event was diametrically opposed to what the McBrooms had promised.

Many attendees remarked the event was nothing like Disneyland or Coachella,

and that it felt more like a local rural fair.

Austin said that all tickets were sold out prior to the event. At least 10,000 people were expected.

However, based on social media photographs showing vacant plots and stalls,

fans were convinced the YouTuber-turned-boxer had lied and the event was a disaster.

Spill Sesh, a YouTuber who attended the festival, expressed her thoughts on the event in a video titled ‘THE ACE FAMILY FESTIVAL WAS A MESS (acefest).’

She went over everything that went wrong on the occasion.

Spill Sesh, a YouTuber, revealed the information.

Sesh claimed that the McBrooms had promised free parking,

but when she arrived at the event, she was allegedly charged $10.

She then revealed how the vloggers had promised free rides and games,

but the rewards were supposedly old ACE Family-branded winter scarves and Christmas ornaments.

Spill Sesh, a YouTuber, discusses the Ace Family Fest, claiming it was a scam.

Sesh also mentioned the meet and greet, which she felt was a source of friction.

The couple had agreed to see their admirers from midday until 10 p.m., but the meeting was allegedly cut short with no explanation.

The McBrooms, on the other hand, was really involved with their fans and thrilled to meet them, according to the YouTuber.

Several YouTube personalities and drama channels, in addition to Sesh, attended the event.

Unfortunately, when the events team recognized Rich Lux, MadCaster, and Def Noodles, they were all reportedly booted out.

Austin’s videographer is reportedly said to have taunted Rich Lux and MadCaster.

The microbeams, according to the YouTuber, did not want them at the event since they wanted to prevent criticism and conflict.

Justin and Catherine McBroom Reacted to Criticism

Overall, there were numerous complaints about the ceremony, which the pair appeared to address in a July 12, 2022 vlog.

The first segment of the video featured the pair greeting their fans and clips of their supporters having fun on the rides and activities.

The action in the vlog seemed worlds apart from the videos circulating on the internet,

thanks to improved editing and perfect background music.

One would think that the festival was a huge success.

Towards the end of the video, the couple shared a message for their fans and addressed the negativity and haters.

They thanked all their fans for coming to the event and buying the ticket

“when people didn’t really have extra money to spend at an event.”

Catherine then addressed the negativity by saying,

After every single event, there’s always a downside to it obviously there are more eyes on us so there’s negativity that comes with it.

We’re so used to it I mean like this is something that like we just know comes with it.

The couple then ended the video, noting their fans could see them in LA at the Staples Center during Austin’s boxing match on July 30, 2022.
