As of 2022, Vickie Guerrero has a net worth of $8 million. Notoriously known for her unfair match-fixing and biasedness, Guerrero did make a career out of it.

Edge’s Personal Life and Affair – Is it true that he married Vickie? Who is her husband, by the way?

Eddie Guerrero, as we all know, got her start in the WWE community owing to her husband, who also happens to be a professional wrestler.

Eddie and Vickie, meanwhile, married in 1990 after dating for three years. Shaul Marie Guerrero, born in 1990, and Sherilyn Amber Guerrero, born in 1995, are their two daughters.

Vickie was also the stepmother of Kaylie, who was born in 2002, in addition to their own girls.

Kaylie is the daughter of her late husband, Eddie, and Tara Mahoney, for those who don’t know. When Eddie and Vickie were apart for a bit, the two dated.

Sadly, after the death of her husband, Eddie, their marriage fell apart. Eddie was discovered dead in a suite at The Marriot Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on November 13, 2005. He died of sudden heart failure, according to reports.

Vickie went a decade without dating after her husband’s death, focusing completely on WWE.

She quickly soared to villain status and was despised by practically all of the show’s viewers. Her marriage to wrestler Edge, on the other hand, was primarily for show and was far from genuine.

Kris Benson and Vickie Guerrero

Vickie began dating Kris Benson after her departure from the show.

Finally, Guerrero confirmed her engagement to Benson on June 18, 2015, and the couple married on September 12, 2015.

They also have no children at the moment, but they are spending quality time with their prior partners’ children. Not to mention, the pair have avoided issues, and from the looks of it, they aren’t planning to divorce anytime soon.

Professional Career

Vickie made her WWE debut as a face with her late husband, Eddie Guerrero, and Rey Mysterio, according to her professional resume.

Vickie began the show with a drama in which she and Eddie’s two daughters tried to prevent him from revealing Mysterio’s secret. This lasted until Eddie’s unexpected death on November 13, 2005, in the first half of 2005.

Vickie began to appear more prominently in WWE following that, as well as in more controversial storylines.

She also became embroiled in feuds, including one involving Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero. Then, in October 2006, Chris Benoit joined the plot.

Furthermore, while still defending the WWE United States Championship in a rivalry with Chavo, Benoit was more concerned with learning out what Vickie was doing with Eddie’s fortune.

Vickie had knocked off the ring during the survival series, requiring her to wear a neck brace. Guerrero accused Chris of “deliberately” punching her after the event.

Guerrero was appointed as the assistant to Theodore Long, the General Manager of WWE, in May 2007. Guerrero then took over as interim general manager of SmackDown! while preparing for his wedding.

Following Long’s heart attack, Vince McMahon introduced Guerrero as the new General Manager of SmackDown!

Vickie’s career had numerous ups and downs after that, from her romantic engagement with Edge to having the Tombstone Piledriver applied to her by Undertaker.

We last saw her on December 14, and she was in a wheelchair. Guerrero made partial matches soon after her return to assist Edge to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Armageddon.

Drama and the Formation of La Familia

Vickie Guerrero also established La Familia with her cousin Chavo, Edge, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, and even Bam Neely in early 2008.

Vickie was a member of the gang that assisted Chavo in defeating CM Punk for the ECQ Championship.

She continued to interfere with other events and contests after that. Guerrero also sparked a feud and provided multiple opportunities for Edge to reclaim his title.

After losing the World Heavyweight Championship to CM Punk, Edge called off the wedding, only to have it rescheduled the following week.

Is it true that Vickie and Edge tied the knot?

Then Triple H exposed Edge for cheating on Vickie with their wedding planner, Alicia Fox, and things started to fall apart.

Following this, Edge begged forgiveness only to be set up in a match with his arch-enemy, The Undertaker.

Vickie and Edge, on the other hand, patched things up during the Survivor Series and even won a Slammy Award for Couple of the Year.

Following Stephanie McMahon’s absence, Vickie was named interim General Manager of Raw in February 2009.

Despite her efforts, John Cena defeated Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship, and Vickie moved to Raw as a General Manager.

Move to Raw and Departure (2009-2014)

Vickie had a lot on her plate in early 2009, from her resignation as Raw’s general manager to her breakup with Edge.

Vickie returned to SmackDown during their 10th Anniversary special episode after suffering a mental breakdown.

Guerrero was accompanied by her storyline boyfriend, Eric Escobar, who was dressed dramatically in a new look. Vince McMahon appointed her as a SmackDown consultant upon her return.

Vickie is not someone new when it comes to conflict and arguments. Similarly, this time she got involved in a heated rivalry between WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James and Michelle McCool and Layla.

Thankfully to many fans, Vickie departed from the WWE world, at least from an on-screen appearance in late 2014.

However, Guerrero has made few appearances after she departed from the show, mostly comprising her roles as a villain, of course.

But it is safe to say that none of her returns turned out to be joyous or victorious. And sadly, even after being part of WWE for a decade, she is not in the hall of Fame.’
