The late wrestler stated in his memoir, Soulman: The Rocky Johnson, that he decided to marry Una because he was madly in love with her and was tired of living alone in Toronto.
Rocky proposed to Una after much deliberation, and she said ‘yes.’
The couple married in 1966. Although we don’t know how the wedding went down, we’re sure it was a small affair attended by many of their close friends and family.

The couple had two beautiful children from their happy marriage: Curtis Bowles, a boy, and Wanda Bowles, a girl.
They are both older than Una’s stepson from Rocky’s second marriage to Ata Johnson, Dwayne ‘The Rock Johnson.
Una and Rocky are also loving parents to their children.
Rocky cherished all of the time he spent with his children, no matter how limited it was because of his wrestling commitments.

After a decade of marriage, Una Johnson and Rocky Johnson divorced
A relationship, no matter how you look at it, is extremely fragile and can crumble with the slightest flinch.

As previously stated, Una was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, and her faith prohibited blood sports.
Although things were going well at first, as Rocky climbed the wrestling success ladder, issues in his marital life began to arise.
When Rocky returned from Calgary, Una presented him with a difficult choice: leave sports or leave her.
Given how well his career was going at the time and how much effort he put into it from the start, his choice, however tragic, was obvious.
Their marriage eventually ran its course, and they divorced in 1978.
However, there is one peculiarity about their separation.
Rocky and Ata Maivia welcomed Dwayne Johnson into their family for the third time in 1972.
He was still married to Una at the time of his third child’s birth.
This raises two possibilities: either he cheated on her and kept his second family hidden, or his marriage to Una had already ended by the time he met his second wife Ata.
Whatever the case may have been, Rocky and Una divorced in 1978, the same year he married his girlfriend Ata.
Whatever happened between Una and Rocky, the two remained friends.
Furthermore, all three of his children have a strong bond.
They are still on good terms and frequently hang out together. Curtis, The Rock’s older brother, frequently posts photos of them together.

Having said that, Una’s son, Curtis, has occasionally shared a glimpse into their lives.

After divorcing her, he reportedly married Dana Martin.
His final marriage was to speech pathologist Shiela Northern. Rocky died in January 2020 at the age of 75.
He died as a result of a pulmonary embolism at his home in Lutz, Florida.
