In February 2018, a video of Peirez screaming at a woman and her 8-month-old son went viral, and he threatened to fire a flight attendant.

Marissa Rundell, then 19, was on the flight to Syracuse, New York, with her son Mason, which irritated Peirez.

Rundell stated that she was the last person to board the plane and that she immediately began to complain, saying, “this is b***shit.” “Having to take a seat in the back of the plane.”

She began filming Susan after she started causing a commotion.

Peirez also mentioned working for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in the video.

Ms. Rundell stated that she began kicking off as soon as she boarded the plane and later began swearing.

In addition, she verbally abused a member of the cabin crew who intervened.

When the flight attendant, Tabitha, arrived, Peirez demanded a new seat, but the attendant said she could only give her one on the next flight.

Peirez then threatened Tabitha, saying, “she might not have her job,” adding that she worked for a governor.

Susan was removed from the flight despite her apology. The incident occurred on February 6, 2018.

What Did Delta Airlines Have to Say About Susan Peirez?

Delta, in a statement defending its flight attendant, stated that the airline has always expected civility and respect from its customers when flying.

They determined that Peirez’s behavior toward a fellow passenger on a flight from New York to Syracuse did not meet those standards.

Delta also expressed gratitude for the flight attendant’s initiative.

Rundell broadcast the entire incident on the internet. She also wrote while doing so,

“I’d like to thank the lovely Delta flight attendant for not allowing this woman to bully us. Karma stinks,”

According to Ronni Reich, director of public information for the Council where Peirez worked, her organization learned about the situation and ordered an investigation.

Susan Peirez worked as the regional director of the USC Shoah Foundation from 1995 to 2000.

Peirez then worked as Acoustiguide’s creative director (2000 – 2003).

In a statement, Delta said Peirez’s behavior toward another passenger on a flight from New York to Syracuse was inappropriate.

She then began working as a publicist at Manning Selvage and Lee in March 2006.

She stayed with them until March 2007, when she moved on to become an associate producer at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The Bowdoin graduate started her job as the Talent Acquisition Manager at TPT, Twin Cities PBS, in August 2008.

Susan has also worked for The Big Picture: America In Panorama, the New York State Council on the Arts, and the Producers Guild of America.

Peirez is currently the executive producer/founder of Fox Hole Productions. She has been with the company since August of this year.
