High School and College Career

Proviso East High School was attended by Brown. In 2003, he was named a McDonald’s All-American and Illinois Mr. Basketball.

He was also the top-ranked shooting guard and third-best player in the country.

Brown played for Michigan State University’s team, the Michigan State Spartans, and later rose to prominence as a college basketball player. He was an All-Big Ten selection as a junior and was named to the list.

Early Years of Professional Career in the NBA (2006-2009)

Brown was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2006 NBA Draft. He was selected as the 25th pick in the first round.
