Brock Davies, the fiancee of Vanderpump Rules actress Scheana Shay, was spotted on a reality show shopping for an engagement ring for his lady love.
It was a lovely engagement ring, but instead of a diamond stone, it was fitted with a morganite stone.
Kyle Chan created the ring. Kyle created the jewelry and accessories worn by characters in the film La La Land.
Lady Gaga and singer Beyonce have also used Kyle’s services to add to their jewelry collection.
The couple plans to marry in the summer of 2021.
Scheana revealed on her podcast shortly after their gorgeous engagement that the primary stone in the center was the semi-precious gemstone morganite, which was surrounded by small-sized diamonds.
Social media reactions to the morganite engagement ring
Some fans were offended because the engagement ring did not have a diamond stone in the center.
One member of the audience tweeted:
‘It’s morganite,’ she says. ‘It’s not a diamond,’
Scheana responded, saying: “It still weighs 12.74 carats.” “What difference does it make what stone?”
Another fan agreed with her, writing: ‘Diamonds are overpriced,’ says one.
The American television personality agreed:
“I concur. I wasn’t looking for a diamond. Morganites are both attractive and symbolic.”
Colored gemstones, with or without diamonds, are becoming increasingly popular in engagement rings.
They give vibrancy and color to the ring while being cheap and long-lasting.

Brock and Scheana’s relationship
It’s unclear when and how Brock and Scheana met.
However, they made their relationship public during the summer of 2020.
Scheana had frozen her eggs several years before.
She became pregnant with Brock’s baby shortly after they made their relationship public.
She expressed amazement at her pregnancy, revealing that physicians had warned her it was extremely unlikely that she would ever become pregnant naturally.
However, in June 2020, she revealed on her podcast that doctors discovered no fetal heartbeat and that she will have a natural miscarriage.
Her second pregnancy was announced in October.
They found out in November that the fetus was a daughter.
Their daughter Summer Moon Honey Davies was born at the end of April 2021.
Brock proposed to her in July 2021, and she accepted.
A prenuptial agreement has been signed by the couple.
Scheana did it because her ex-husband, Michael Shay, seized more than half of her financial account during their divorce.
