Later, after starring in the TruTV reality TV show Impractical Jokers, which premiered on December 15, 2011, the New York City native captivated the hearts of millions.
In the show, he co-stars with Joe Gatto, James Murray, and Brian Quinn.
Vulcano could be seen in most of his live events and TV appearances presenting various aspects of his life with a dash of comedy and jokes.
However, the comedian has largely kept his personal life private.
People have speculated whether or not he is dating a girlfriend as a result of his privacy.
Some speculations have even claimed that Vulcano is gay.
Does Sal Vulcano have a wife?
As previously said, Vulcano’s personal life was completely unknown, and it was unknown if he was dating a girlfriend or married to a wife.
It was revealed during his visit that Vulcano was engaged at the time.
Host Kelly also praised Vulcano’s girlfriend, saying she is one of the “sweetest and loveliest” persons she has ever encountered.
“Yeah, she’s fantastic,” Vulcano said, gushing about his spouse.
Another guest on the show, comedian Eleanor Kerrigan, described Vulcano’s fiance as “a great dancer,” to which Vulcano replied, “Aww, thanks!”
Aside from that, the three of them offered no more information concerning Vulcano’s love life or relationship.
Later that year, however, it was reported that Vulcano had exchanged wedding vows with his fiance.
On December 14, 2019, a Vulcano fan who had seen the comedian live in Boston divulged the information in a Tumblr post.
“Saw our son live last night in Boston,” the admirer commented.
First and foremost, his performance was outstanding.
If he is anywhere near you, you should definitely go see him.”
They then went on to describe his marriage and wife, writing, “Secondly: he was wearing a wedding band and confirmed that he is now married.”
Vulcano’s wife’s name is Francesca Muffaletto, according to the fan.
“He claimed he and Francesca have been dating for approximately eight years and are quite happy; he loves her – you can tell from the way he talks about her.”
I am overjoyed for him. “May they have many wonderful years together,” the fan said at the end of his post.
Many people were surprised when the fan shared this because Vulcano isn’t the kind to talk about his personal life.
“I can’t believe he said that. “I assumed he wanted to keep it private,” another fan commented beneath the initial post.
Soon after, another fan entered the debate and went into detail about how Vulcano went on to divulge facts about his married life and wife.
“An audience member yelled something about the ring,” they wrote.
He admitted that, indeed, he was married.”
The fan then wrote about how Vulcano stated that he typically prefers to keep things private, but he only decided to discuss it since the matter was brought up.
“He just mentioned briefly how long they’ve been together (8 years),” the admirer continued.
“And how much he adores her, that sort of thing.”
Everyone clapped for him, and that was the end of the wedding talk.
He did say that [Francesca] was there, so I didn’t stand up and see.”
So, it could be it. Vulcano is married to Francesca Muffaletto at the moment.
However, there aren’t many details about Muffaletto, and the only thing we could find was her Facebook profile, where she shared a photo with Vulcano in January 2017.
When the engaged pair married, it appears that they did so on September 8, 2019.
According to reports, Muffaletto had specified on the Williams Sonoma website that she was looking to commemorate an event on the said date, according to a wishlist registered under her name.
Sal Vulcano’s gay rumors debunked
There was a lot of speculation about Vulcano being gay before it was revealed that he was engaged and subsequently married.
During an appearance on the Daytime Talk Show with Sally Jessy, the comic appeared to come out as gay. James Murray, one of his close pals, came out as gay shortly after he did.
Vulcano eventually confessed, however, that he was only pretending to convince his friend, Murray, to come out of the closet, and that he was not gay.
“It feels amazing that my best friend James has come out of the closet,” he remarked.
“You see, I’m not homosexual,” the comedian said, “but I knew if I said I was gay, he’d admit he was gay.”
