While Horton’s own money was never revealed, she did benefit significantly from the tragedy of her husband’s death.

As a result, when Rickman died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 69 in 2016, he left his wife more than $5 million, according to Express UK.

Rima also received the majority of her late husband’s UK holdings.

She also appears to have obtained ownership of Rickman’s properties in America and Italy.

The actor also bequeathed £25,000 to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Sponsored Arts for Education, the Facial Surgery Research Foundation, and the International Performers Aid Trust.

His three nieces were also among those who won £25,000 apiece.
