Wrestling at the World Championships
In 1974, Flair joined the National Wrestling Alliance. After a horrific plane crash in 1975, the blossoming name was on the point of disappearing from wrestling forever.
He returned after eight months, despite having his back shattered in three places.
After the accident, he modified his wrestling technique and became known as “Nature Boy.”
He held the NWA United States Heavyweight Champion belt for five reigns until July 1997.
After defeating Dusty Rhodes in September 1981, he won his first NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
In January 1991, Flair became the first WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
However, due to contract disagreements, the WCW president sacked him. As a result, the Heavyweight Championship was vacated.
The Year 1993 Is Back
Flair returned to hosting the A Flair for the Gold chat program in February 1993.
Later, he defeated Barry Windham for the tenth time to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

At Clash of the Champions XXVII in June 1994, Ric won the united WCW International World Heavyweight Championship and the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
With Arn Anderson, Brian Pillman, and Chris Benoit, the undisputed WCW champion headed the tag team Four Horsemen.
Ric was embroiled in many feuds with the likes of Randy Savage, Roddy Piper, and the New World Order faction, which included Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and Hollywood Hulk Hogan, throughout his stint at WCW.
In February 1997, a new member, Jeff Jarret, joined the Four Horsemen. However, he was disliked by the other members, and Ric was forced to expel him.
By removing Arn and Brian, the stable was reconstituted in September 1998 to include Steve McMichael and Dean Malenko.
WCW reigns for the last time
Ric was elected president of WCW. He abused his power by handing the WCW US Heavyweight Championship to his son.

Team Flair and Team Hogan were always fighting and feuding. Flair has to deal with a lot of setbacks.
Flair’s Hall of Fame ring was in Hogan’s possession, which he gifted to wrestler Jay Lethal.
However, out of respect for Ric, Lethal returned it to him.
Despite this, the Hall of Famer was so dissatisfied with Jay’s return of his rings that he attacked Team Flair members and attacked Lethal. When the two met at Victory Road, Jay came out on top.
In September 2012, he had the final match of his career, which was against Sting at Impact Wrestling. TNA fired Flair, and in a December 2012 interview, he stated that he would never wrestle again.

Singers Pusha T and Killer Mike have given tribute to him in their songs. Most professional wrestling experts, analysts, and stars call him the most outstanding wrestler of all time.
However, some of them have called him money greed because of continuing in the ring even after losing the age and ability to do so. His TNA career has widely received criticism.
