Winners of the PFA Player of the Year Award in 2021

KEVIN DE BRUYNE, MIDFIELDER FOR MANCHESTER CITY, HAS WON THE PFA PLAYER PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW.

And Manchester City teammate Phil Foden has been named the PFA Young Player of the Year.

With the Carabao Cup, both players had a huge impact on City winning their third Premier League title in four years.

De Bruyne, 29, is the second player in history to win the men’s trophy, following Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United.

“As a team member, you constantly want to win every trophy.”

“And this is perhaps the most essential thing for me as an individual,” De Bruyne remarked.

“On the other hand, in every event, being voted out for the prize by your own opponents is an honor.”

It also matters a lot that your competitors have chosen you.

“If you have any special items like these that you can show your children in the coming days, please do so.” And tell them, ‘Look, this is what my father used to do when he was younger.'”

In the Premier League, the Belgian striker has six goals. And he had 12 assists in 2,001 minutes of Premier League action.

He was instrumental in City’s double triumph before breaking their nose and left eye.

On May 29, they were defeated by Chelsea in the Champions League.

He has had minimal surgery on his face injuries since then.

On Monday, he will join the Belgian Euro 2020 team.

Last season, Foden, 21, appeared in 50 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions, scoring 16 goals.

In September, the Stockport-born midfielder got his England debut.

He has also been named to Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2020 management squad.

“There were some fantastic guys,” he remarked.

They have already been named PFA player of the year.

And I consider myself quite fortunate because I have learned very few new skills this year.

“I’m overjoyed right now. And this is a very memorable occasion for me.”

Each reward is decided by a vote of PFA members.

Fran Kirby of Chelsea wins the PFA Player of the Year title for the second time.

Fran Kirby of Chelsea was selected as the Professional Footballers’ Association’s all-time female player of the year.

Chelsea won the Women’s Super League thanks to the 27-year-old.

This season, he also won the League Cup and reached the Champions League final.

“Winning this award means a lot to me,” she said at the event on Sunday.

Lauren Hemp, 20, of Manchester City, was named Premier League Young Player of the Year for the third time.

It is the first time a person has received the PFA award three times in the same category.

Kirby previously won Women’s Player of the Year in 2018.

Only Lucy Bronze has previously received the prize twice.

Sam Kerr, Ann-Katrin Berger, and three Manchester City players, Hemp, Chloe Kelly, and Sam Mewis, accompanied her.

“First and foremost, my colleagues are incredible.

“And I wouldn’t have gotten any of the medals or trophies I have without them,” Kirby said.

“However, overcoming this is critical.

What we accomplished was outstanding, in my opinion.

So I am extremely proud to be a member of such an incredible team.

“I always play the game that I enjoy. And I love to have fun, which is when you get the most out of me.”

Hemp, who was also nominated for the grand prize, won the junior player award in both 2018 and 2020.

“It usually sounds like I’m a particular pick among my teammates,” she explained.

Every week, they played with me.

This is one of the most prestigious prizes I can receive.

It’s a true honor.

“I am quite proud of the squad. And I’m hoping that we can win the league next season.

But, more importantly, advance to the Champions League because I’m here to win championships.”
