Pete Davidson’s ethnicity and parents

In 1993, Pete Davidson was born to Scott Matthew Davidson and Amy Waters Davidson.

Davidson has been open about his family and frequently tells stories about his heroic father.

His confusion about being Jewish stems from the fact that both of his parents raised him as Catholic.

Scott Matthew Davidson, the comedian’s father, was a brave firefighter who died on 9/11.

Amy Waters Davidson, his mother, is a nurse who lives in Brooklyn, New York.

In an interview, Davidson stated that he inherited his Jewish ancestry from his late father.

From his father’s side, he inherited Polish/Russian, German, Scottish, English, and Irish ancestry in addition to Jewish ancestry.

His account of mixed races, however, does not end there. Amy Waters also brought three-quarters Irish, German, Scottish, and English ancestors.

Furthermore, because he was born in New York, his nationality is American.

Pete Davidson, more than his fans, was curious about his ethnicity, ancestry, and heritage.

In order to learn more about himself, the SNL star had his DNA tested in 2017.

His fans were right behind him in this quest, so he wasn’t alone.

The results astounded him as much as they did everyone else.

He discovered that he is 48% Jewish, despite having been raised as a Catholic his entire life.

He was dating Cassie David at the time, who came from a proud Jewish family, which worked in his favor.
