Nikocado Avocado is alive and well. Fans of the popular mukbang YouTuber will be relieved to learn that the death rumors about Perry are false. And it was confirmed by his now-divorced husband, Orlin Home.
On Tuesday, June 12, 2022, Home took to Instagram to share a post revealing that Perry is alive and that his fans’ concerns were appreciated.
His post was entirely text, and it began, “Nick is alive.”
Perry is doing well, according to Home, and is taking a much-needed break from social media due to some personal issues mentioned in his last Instagram post and on Perry’s third YouTube channel.
Perry’s death rumors began in early July 2022, when the phrase “Nikocado Avocado dead” began trending online.
A video titled “Nikocado Avocado Passed Away (Trigger Warning), pray for his family #nikocadoavocado” was linked to his death speculation.
Before it was removed, the video had received over 7,000 likes.
Similarly, the video implied that the YouTuber was dead because he hadn’t posted a video on his main YouTube channel in eight days, which was extremely unusual.
Perry’s heart problems were also brought up.
Returning to Home, the last Instagram post he was referring to was the announcement of his divorce from Perry, which occurred about a week ago, on June 6, 2022.
It was also a text-only post without a caption that began, “Nick and I are breaking up.”
“Despite the fact that my beloved husband and I have been together for 6 years, we have made the difficult decision to divorce.
I’m no longer going to be in Nick’s mukbang videos, and I’m going to take some time to myself.”
Finally, Home reflected on the fact that Perry hasn’t uploaded anything new to his YouTube channels in quite some time.
“This is one of the reasons there haven’t been any uploads on our social media,” he explained. This account will be active for me.”
These two announcements were made by Home on his new and official Instagram handle, which he appeared to open in February 2022.
And he wrote “Single” in his Instagram bio to indicate that he is no longer with Perry.
Their split announcement came months after Home broke down in Perry’s May 2022 YouTube video.
The couple was in an argument in the video titled “We Broke Up,” which only got worse after that.
Home could be heard yelling various things behind the camera as the video progressed.
“You literally ruined my life; you ruined my body; you made me a miserable, sad, depressed person because you’re so [expletive] mean,” he told Perry. You’re so commanding.”
As Home yelled those words, calling Perry “evil” and “controlling,” he burst into tears.
Since then, he has only made sporadic appearances in Perry’s mukbang videos on his various YouTube channels.
While Home’s breakup announcement may seem sad for the newcomers, many of Perry and Home’s fans refuse to believe it, citing the married couple’s numerous breakup videos over the years.
Many Instagram users have expressed similar sentiments in response to Home’s breakup announcement post.
“I’m trying to believe if this is really a breakup,” one wrote.
“I’m not sure if it’s real, but it’s interesting that you posted it here rather than on YouTube to make a fake breakup announcement.
So, good luck if it’s true. I hope you and Nick are doing well. If true, is this why Nick hasn’t been posting, and he was crying in one of his YouTube shorts videos?” someone else asked.

The same reaction was received when the news was shared on Def Noodles’ tea page.
“They do this all the time; it’s not new; they break up every 4 months,” one wrote.
“I’m sure it’s another breakup for attention, like the last hundred,” said another.
“Every time they say this, they always get back together; it’s hard to believe them anymore,” one user added, adding, “They have broken up so many times that it’s hard to figure out if it’s for real anymore.”
As of now, it is unclear whether Perry and Home have finally parted ways, owing to the fact that they have done so previously.
For the time being, Perry’s fans can rejoice in the fact that he is still alive.
Perry and Home first met through a vegan men’s Facebook group.
They met in person in New York and remained friends for a while before moving forward. They eventually started dating and married in 2017.
