John Cameron Fogerty is a musician, singer, and songwriter from the United States. John Fogerty created the band Creedence Clearwater Revival with Doug Clifford, Stu Cook, and his brother Tom Fogerty, for which he was the lead singer, lead guitarist, and principal songwriter.
Between 1968 and 1972, the group achieved nine top-ten singles and eight gold albums and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.
