The first single from Nessa Barrett’s upcoming album Die First has been published. It’s also in memory of her late best buddy, Cooper Noriega.

On Thursday, June 23, 2022, the TikTok star posted two photos to her Instagram account: the first was a painting of a peace dove, and the second was of her wearing a white dress and holding a white dove in her palms.

She first indicated in the post that her single ‘Die First’ and its music video will be published tomorrow.

She went on to say that the song means more to her than anyone could understand.

“Coop [Cooper] stated this was his favorite song off the album, and I’m so happy I got to tell him that this song was for him and my mom before he went,” Barrett explained. My tiny dove, I miss you more than ever.”

Finally, she expressed surprise that this was her first song/album release without Noriega.

“This is cooper’s song.” “Every time I listen, I feel u beside me,” she concluded her caption.

A day or so later, she shared another photo on her Instagram stories, this time devoted to Noriega.

“Forever looking up into the sky seeking for u,” she wrote. My strongest supporter.

“You were there for me every step of the way with my record.”

Barrett then stated that she didn’t want to do this without him, but she is now doing it for him.

“Fly high, my little dove,” she encouraged.

“In loving remembrance of Cooper Noriega,” she said in the caption of her YouTube video.

She also posted a short video on her Instagram account with the phrase “for my angel,” referring to Noriega.

Furthermore, on her Instagram account, she showed an old photo of herself with Noriega and referred to him as her “fire and safety.”

Barrett was saddened when she got the news, and it took her a few days to process it before ultimately paying honor to her fallen angel.
